I did not grow up with a financial advisor.
I grew up watching my family swing from comfortable to stressed and back again. Good income did not equal stability. Nobody was connecting the dots.
After the military, I was working 4am to 5pm, picking up my son from daycare, and seeing him maybe 30 minutes a day.
My own advisor was giving me advice I could not actually follow in the life I was living. So I made a decision. I left a good job for a significant pay cut, got my licenses, and became the advisor that people like us actually need.
I have tattoos. I drive a minivan. I do not wear a suit.
I am not your grandfather's financial advisor.
However I know what it feels like to need real guidance and not be able to access it. That is exactly why I do this.
Math does not have emotions. But people do. My job is to help you make decisions from the clear headed side of that equation.
